MedHome Hippocrates is a private medical company based on the island of Kos, Greece. Founded in 2007, we have grown from a two-specialty medical office into the most comprehensive private healthcare network on the island — serving local residents and international visitors alike.

Today our network includes multispecialty medical clinics, a fully equipped private diagnostic centre, the only private day hospital on Kos, and a modern fleet of three emergency ambulances operating around the clock.

2007 — Foundation
MedHome Hippocrates began in the village of Kardamena with a medical office offering General Practice and General Surgery, serving local residents and tourists.

2011 — First Private Multispecialty Clinic on Kos
We established the first private multispecialty medical company on the island — with a main clinic at the 11th km Rural Road, Linopoti, and a second clinic in Kardamena.

2012 — First Private Ambulance on Kos
MedHome Hippocrates introduced the first private fully equipped ambulance on the island, setting a new standard for emergency medical response.

2016 — Private Day Hospital & First MRI on Kos
Two landmark achievements: we opened the first — and still the only — private Day Hospital on Kos, and launched a Diagnostic Centre with the first MRI system on the island. Patients no longer needed to travel to Athens for MRI examinations.

2019 — Most Complete Diagnostic Centre on the Island
Our diagnostic centre was upgraded into the first fully equipped private facility on Kos — combining advanced medical imaging and a clinical laboratory under one roof.

2020 — First COVID PCR Testing on Kos
During the pandemic, MedHome Hippocrates was the first to install PCR testing systems on the island, providing diagnostic services for Kos and neighbouring islands including Leros and Patmos.

2025 — Second Modern Ambulance
A second fully equipped, state-of-the-art ambulance was added to our emergency fleet.

2026 — Third Ambulance & New Clinic in Pyli
A third fully equipped ambulance entered operation, and a new medical clinic opened in the village of Pyli — bringing quality healthcare to more communities across Kos.
